Question Cols:BBQ meet??

Decided to start a new thread. Alright so we need to come up with a date/place/ and time. I dont know too many parks. Ones around me are Sharron woods, and that big man-made lake(I forget the name of it) Any other good parks around here?

So do you want to be the organizer this time Luke? You know the organizer has to be present the day of the event (I'm teasing you).

Sharon Woods, Highbanks & Blacklick to name a few. As the weather is getting better we must definately nail a date and reserve one of the Shelter house.

Actually it was Ed's idea for a Bar BQ/GTG. Sharon Woods is a nice location and easy to access.

If everyone can agree on the location (SHARON WOODS) I'll call and reserve a sheltor.

Sharon Woods is on Cleveland Ave, just past Schrock Rd, across the street from St Ann's Hospital. I think you're talking about Highbanks.

Do you have to reserve spots @ Highbanks or is it a first come first claim basis there?

Don't count on Luke showing...he'll ditch us for his EX-girlfriend!!!

The place up at Alum Creek is nice too!!!; But I am game for anything!!!

So we are going to need:

1. Charcoal grill
2. Charcoal/or wood if you are brave!
3. Dead animal of some sort(Dogs-burgers)
4. Chipage
5. Soda/Pop
6. Buttpaper....(napkins)
7. Some sort of yeast/flour material that resembles hot dog and hambuger buns
8. Desert(spelling?)
9. Someone to take Luke's Place!

Anything else other than a date and place?

Wende, I believe you have to reserve a spot at Highbanks, and it fills up fast. Just check with Franklin County Parks and Recreation.

Cheeze, I think the list has basically everything. I would add potato or macaroni salad and maybe cole slaw to go with the food.

If no one's against it could we meet on a Sunday afternoon? Maybe.... May 16th or 25th? Saturday's are usually toughto get off, or worst case, I'll just meet up after work.

Sunday 5/16/04 Sounds good to me too! If everyone agrees with that I'll call to see who still has shelter space available.

I think the 16th should work. And no you can't forget the potato or pasta salad!

Luke: Can't go because you are grounded? Can't see the ex because her parents won't let her come out to play either? Soo much fun messing with ya!

I had forgot about everyone else and their auto-x stuff. Is there something going on that weekend? I'm sure there is...

Jesse may have his car barring anymore deer incidents

I'll actually be in town that weekend. Was thinking this was going to wind up the weekend before as I was going to be back home for Mothers Day 5/9 (just a friendly reminder for those who might have forgotten)
