I know, I hate "feeler" ads too. So.. please forgive me for that off the top.

I'm thinking very hard about pulling the pin and going with a set of coilovers for my GC. I AutoX regularly in SM. Although the AGX/Swift combo is actually quite nice, and I do quite well in SM, I'm looking for that extra edge and ride height control that only a stiff coilover can provide. But, I (like alot of us) am on a budget, and can't afford to drop the $$$ on a set of Coilovers if there is no way my current setup will sell.

What would you get?
- all 4 corners still assembled and still working perfectly.
- 4 KYB/AGX struts
- 2 fronts, installed in 03. (>60k)
- 2 rears, new from as of March this year (<10k)
- 4 Swift Sport Springs, as of March this year (<10k)
- 4 GC stock Top Hats

Again, sorry for the crappy fact that this is a feeler post. But, would there be any interest in this setup? And if so, what is it worth to anybody? Brand new that combo without the tophats is about $700 shipping. It's all very low miles except the front struts.

P.S. That pic is the gear the day I installed it. It shows the new rear struts and swift springs. The other stuff is not a part of this.

Thanks

Excuse the dumb question, but how well are these for DD? I really don't know much difference, as I still have my stock suspension on, other than a bigger rsb.

I think this setup is fantastic for a DD. If I didn't AutoX, I'd keep this combo no question. I switched from Eibach ProKit springs to these Swift springs, and was very pleased with the difference. Dial down the AGXs and it's actually quite comfortable. Dial them up, and it's noticeably more taught.

I guess that was part of the idea of this thread. I also was not sure what the going price for a setup like this was. If the going price turns out to be way too low to offset some of the cost of coilovers, then .. well.. you get the idea.

Yup...I'd be interested as well depending on price...

Do the springs lower the car?...I rallycross more than I autocross...so it can't be lowered reallly...coilovers would rock so I could change the height, but I'd be down if it was the right price.

These springs lower the car a little. I can't recall the exact value. But, a quick google or search on here should find the values. Off the top of my head, I believe it's something like 0.8" in the front, 0.6" in the rear. But, don't quote me on that.

Woop.. I forgot this ad was still active.
Sorry.. When I finally pulled them off, I gave first stab to the people who had made a pre-offer.
They are sold.
