Default fuel rail question

Just wanted to know if the rs fuel rails are specific for the rs, I guess what I mean is can I use L fuel rails in my rs? I want to do the parallel fuel line set up deal, and the way I'm planinng on doing would make it much easier to just get another driverside fuel rail. but if it won't work, oh well. thanks in advance.

You have a 97 RS? Maybe I'm confused. The pre-99 2.5s have side-feed injectors like the 2.2L engines. The injector spacing is equal from side to side, so in theory it would work.

The real question is if the injector bosses are the same. Once apon a time I was led to believe all subaru side-feed injectors were created equal. I've come to find out otherwise, at least between the legacy turbos and the 97 2.2s. The legacy turbo fuel rails however bolted right to my stock manifold.
