2017 Impreza Sport - Far more issues after recall flash
My radio no longer works (no volume, zero), my before working back up camera no longer works, my car play locks up. Eyesight is constantly turning off and warning me with an error light.
Battery died three times. I do not recommend anyone go in for the recall, and I cannot advise anyone to buy this model Subaru. Worst car I've ever owned, total unreliable, many of them safety issues (back up camera, eyesight, not starting). I have formally requested a buy back.

Unreliable? Has it left you stranded?
Have you taken it back and given them a chance to rectify your problems? |

No issues here. Flash went well. I would contact Subaru ASAP and get your issue fixed. Remember, every product ever created will have some issues and some time. From a cardboard box, to a boeing 757... things have issues.
Problems are normal, but not common. Contact the dealer, they will fix your issue. Nothing is perfect. NOTHING. But I hope you find the perfect car for you! |

Tell me another car that has awd, hatch, same/similar options, similar residual value and in the same class. Not picking a fight but just want you to give it a thought before exerting passive aggressiveness. I think you are downplaying the cost of new cars. |

Not anything passive about what I said. I bought a brand new 2015 sport 2 years ago, I know about new car prices. |

Me too. I re-read and you were just stating the fact that entry level car prices care expensive but my initial interpretation was passive agressiveness. I'd say there's no harm in being extra courteous to new comers to the forum. I just feel there's so much hate going on towards the new Impreza owners. There's definitely no welcoming mood here.. Ummm Welcome!? |

Why would you pay cash? Surely you can make more from the interest you make on the $28K than the loan rate would cost you. I got the 1.5% deal or whatever it was a year ago when I bought my 2016 and paid a grand total of $500 to get the thing out the door, everything else went on the 1.5% finance. I could have given them the money on the spot too but I'd rather invest it in the meantime.

You can also get an asswad of money back if your dealer lets you pay with a credit card. Friend paid 5k on their XV when they got it. That = some nice rewards and stuff on certain cards.

"Mine was 28k but I only paid 24.3k" or "Mine was 24kish." But just putting "Mine was 28k" means... you paid 28k for it and it gives the appearance, now, that you're backtracking because you're just figuring out that ... yeah, you paid $28k for an Impreza (and probably got 3.6k for trade in bringing what you payed DOWN TO 24.3k, but you really did pay 28k). --kC |
