So I've searched around online and can't seem to find the install manual that people are talking about throughout the thread.

Can someone post up a link to the manual?

Cool let us know if your 90deg elbow fits or not. I'm just wondering if it was a bad batch or are they still sending the wrong size out.

Mine looks AWESOME! I can't believe you get all of that for that price! The only thing I noticed was a small pin hole in the silicone where the maf sensor mounts on. This is the orange silicone that seals the maf plate to the tube. Not a big deal but just wanted to let others know about that.

My box showed up today. The inner boxes were pretty haggard so I thought I may have gotten a bent one too. The overall core seemed to be ok and then I saw this.

It looks like after the damage was done they tried to weld the hole closed or something. Did either of the guys with the bent cores have any luck contacting them?

I guess I'm going to need to get mine flow tested as well. Where's the best place to go to get that done?

We should really make stencils for the new guys:
1 02-03, 1 04-05, and 1 -6+. It would really save them about 4 hours or so.

I will make one for the 02-03 people, just pay shipping.

Default Contacting SSAutochrome

I received my intercooler bent, so far I have gotten 5 emails from Rich at their customer service. He told me to contact Fedex and file a claim, which I already did before emailing him. He assured me between Fedex and them I would have a new intercooler asap. I'll keep you guys posted. But so far, customer service seems to be better than reported by others.

Just use a standard hose clamp to squeez it all the way down on the turbo. Thats what I did. It works great.

You could at least try to contact SSA and get the right elbow. I'm surprised you could clamp it down enough to actually seal good if it is 1/2" off on the turbo outlet.

I have my 2-2.5" 90 elbow as a spare now if someone wants it cheap.

I just cut the whole inside flat. Now the inside of the bumper is completely bare.

Yea I emailed them and from what I understand, they are going to send me the right part. But for now, squeezing it down to fit the turbo outlet works great. Its a nice tight seal. When the right one arrives, i'll probably just stick that one on just cause im OCD like that.

Other than that, this FMIC is Awesome!!!

Anyone know the 90deg elbow you need. I'd like to add it to the FAQ.
Is it a
2inch to 2.75inch 90deg elbow
or
2inch to 2.5inch 90deg elbow

I'm not sure with it is..
