Should've got it in .5 inch from edge of tire. Then it could be flush with a lil camber

looks pretty good, i dont think your gonna be able to stretch the bumpers that far though... that looks quite a bit wider than a typical 22b style kit. but as far as the clearances go, it would be better to get it nice and flush with 5 or 10mm spacer than having it too tight/close to begin with.

id reccomend you get the body guy to use his primer baking lamps (infa-red or the super hot halogen ones) on the corners of the bumpers. it will heat a large area at once in a short amount of time. heat them... install the bumper very quickly then let it cool or spray it with a cold-water hose. he should have the lights they are pretty common in body shops. the best thing is that it makes the plastic VERY soft and flexible

Bumpers are tough due to the attachment points. Front bumper needs a solid attachment point added under the marker light otherwise you end up with a slight gap, even after heating and flexing. Pic taken before aftermarket rims are mounted... See the gap under the passenger side marker light?

As for the rear bumper, make sure he forms the metal on the bottom of the taillights to conform with the bumper. Otherwise when you bring it out it won't contour correctly. Gap is harder to see due to the angle...

Sorry I didn't pull better pics. These are from Function First's Site. He formed the flares. Truth be told both my body guy and Charlie North of Function First did exactly as I asked them to. I wasn't looking for fit and finish on somethnig I was going to be racing through the woods, I simply wanted functional. Hell.. the car was orange.. how good could it really have looked?

Your car is coming along great. Before he closes those fenders up, make sure he uses some heavy duty self etching primer on the inside. Definitely not a spray on variety. Aircraft grade primer is expensive but works really really well.

Bumper seems to be fitting just fine

I think I'll probably have to lose the aeroguards tho, they look a little silly with those tires

Yea, I dont really know how to go about that. I dont want a fiberglass replica bumper, because it won't fit, and because it'll crack... and I dont think anyone is making a wider urethane bumper

what if you cut the bumper perfectly in half then put *__#__* inches of bumper in the middle to widen it.

keeps the outter bits all perfect, and just makes it wider
