You should have mentioned this a few weeks ago. I work in medical sales and our company was looking for someone. We've since hired someone, but what kind of devices do you sell?

Well, you could always check with the hospitals to see if they are hiring for a biomed position. I'll ask around when I go to the different hospitals. I work closely with biomed, so I can see what I can find out for you.

I just moved here from HI and it's definitely SLOW. There have been a few promising leads, but the process just moves painfully slow. The application period to the 2nd interview has taken 2 months already. I probably won't start working until June.

I dont know what you guys are doing, but I have had ZERO problems in finding a job in Hawaii.

I applied for about 15-20 places here in Seattle and only about 5 in hawaii, and I got 3 calls back in hawaii and two job offers. Needless to say, I'll be there this Friday for good.

In a few weeks you'll see my WRX too.

Network Engineer or also known as computer dork

I'll be working for an integration company based in honolulu but they also have clients in every outer island and they just started a small wireless ISP in california for the areas that cannot get broadband(cable & DSL).

Check out the openings at Queen's Medical Center. I believe they're looking for a Biomed Tech. Their website is www.queens.org and their Human Resources Service Center can be contacted at (808) 547-4627. Good luck!

I think South covered them all...there is Pali Momi Hospital, but it's run by Kapi'olani Health Care systems.
