Default Speakers,Front & back? or just Front?

Should a I go with just component speakers with a 2ch amp,or get components in front and coaxials in the back with a 4ch amp?Rarely people sit in the back. Will it sound like I'm missing something with just components up front?

are you going to keep the stockers back there?

if not, then yes, you will miss the rear fill. I did for the day I didn't have any rears.

I did Type r's all around. with a 4 channel. Great sound all around. Just need to make a 3/4 inch spacer in front and put some dynamat behind the speakers in the rear.

in general you should take the money you would spend on the rear doors, and use it to buy better fronts.

Rear full ranges pull the imaging back and you don't want that. (although I run rear full ranges for sheer volume going down the highway with all the windows down)

A GOOD set of front components, a good sub that is properly sized/powered for your fronts and musical tastes, is all that 99% of people will ever need.
