Smile The rallisport racing prototype....Finally

Some quick photos of the finished prototype is a 4-2-1 technically and the layout flows well! This design was chosen because it makes more sense than other the typical UEL on the market.

1 5/8" primaries and 1 3/4" secondaries, 2 1/4" final diameter. Will bolt directly to the 2.5i cat/mid pipe and retains the stock O2 locations. The material is full S304. Catalytic converters are MagnaFlow ceramic double dipped combs (same as OEM) and all bends are mandrel not stretch. Ports are gasket matched and fit over or past the lower driver side engine mount!

The more juicy info is that a few lucky folks will get the pre-production units ahead of the final production units! This will help ease demand and get these in the hands of owners to test and talk.

Help is on the way

This part made me laugh. How much will I pay for an aftermarket performance part that will possibly provide me with the same amount of power as my stock unit?

Probably about tree fiddy.

Could be a possibility! 409 is a cheaper option than 304 and it is perfect for Swaintech or JetHot

Hooray! Any idea of a ballpark estimate of what these will cost when they're in production?

That is the whole purpose to give the 2.5i owner a bolt on solution

It won't need an intake. The stock intake and manifold can flow waaaaaay more air than a crap-design header like this can flow. The header is still going to be a MAJOR restriction.

There's just about nothing easier than making a dyno lie. The hard part (seriously) is making them tell the truth.

I've done a hell of a lot more testing on these cars than he has and I'm not currently in the business of taking people's money and not giving them prodct for years (if ever). Which of us sounds more credible to you

I've had every single header on the market on these cars except the Rallisport one (though I did test a prototype that was EXTREMELY similar to it). Search long enough and you'll even find dynos on here of a lot of the testing. The 05+ intake manifold and the 06+ heads MASSIVELY outflow the unequal-length header designs. Hell, they even outflow most of the equal length header designs until you get some serious work going on with the whole system.

The stock intake, filter box, manifold, and heads would flow enough air to get you up into the 250hp range without any trouble. The problem is trying to get the engine to ask for that much air and successfully get rid of it. After the intake-side revisions in 05, the rest of the engine is the limitation, not the induction.

I apologize, and I am going to ask the stupid question :: Is this for the older EJ251/D engines, or is this for new newer 2.5i litre engines?

Thank you!
