More pics. Sending valves to swaintech for coatings. When I dissasembled the old motor the piston coatings literally looked new. Going to reuse the valves just clean and coat. They look great.
Heres clutch disc and turbo fittings. those eagle rods are for back up motor. work bench a bit crowded and messy but ill clean it up before assembling! |

i used the stock u brace on bottom of the car for extra intercooler supports. which is why the center brace is offset a bit to the right. used existing threaded holes and all i had to do was drill intercooler braces and then put some 12mm bolts in there.
5 inch thick intercooler with huge end tanks has a bit of weight to it |

wow dude not many ppl know about those boots! my dads a welder, and i do alot of stuff like that at work where i need them. saw my dad had them so decided to try a pair. i like them.
rods fs are the eagle ones. trying to scrape a few hundred together to pay u and for 2 wastegates. plate on block-machinist cracked this block, welded plate on it. this is going to be the one try this block gets. if it fails or doesnt do what i need its going in the trash and ill start with a stock sleeved block or benson sleeve job. this one has about 5 minutes of run time on it so sucks to waste it because of small crack. maybe it will be good. i say 95 percent chance it doesnt work correctly. oh well. ill just pull motor and build another. |
