Did you check my time Xluben?

Cory tape your phone to the steering wheel; it is really hard to see the speedo from that view.

I though you where done with subarus?

see, i think we can all be gentlemen here and trust flat roads and datalogs. wouldnt want to see people get hurt. plus like said, the speedo means nothing when some can be so far off for different reasons.

IMO a video is better than the log. The logging rate is not perfect plus fast polling introduces a lot of error.

Here is my vid and my log. The video has one run starting from 3rd and the other one starting from second. I short shifted 3rd on the first run. My log is from my second run, you can see that I am only running 22psi and I am running rich.

Xluben what is my time so I can posted using the appropriate format?

Sorry for the delay. Here are the times from the video:

5.17 seconds
4.25 seconds

The second run is definitely the one to go with. Make a post with all the info and I'll add you to the list!

I agree, which is why I use a vbox to get my time.

My forester is right around the same in the high 7s on 93 for now. I can pull on a mid 10sec GTR's from a roll on e85, so I can imagine that its in the low 6s as well. Once I get back home I will put it to the test.

We refer to my station wagon as the tear jerker..
Junior we have fast cars here...

friend of mine just came back from the mile here, and he had problems when running low boost in the car(GT3 TT) and had to stop... but even at low boost he was only 10mph behind the WOLRD RECORD of PORSCHE that i think is from TODD ZUCCONE.

BTW he did 225mph at low boost, probably next mile here there will be a surprise

Gt3's are all motor, iirc the shop car is a 997.1TT with twin 35r's if i'm not mistaken; and Todd zuccone owns evoms motorsports. They have a real dyno fan...

/ot

Edit: u are taking about your buddies car...he tt'd a gt3? That's retarded and not in a good way without a metzger, or 997t swap.

You obviously just want to show that your "big boy" friends and your "not a big boy" Subaru are fast, and you don't want to be on a 50-100mph list someone could "cheat" on. Fine with me. This is no "world record" list anyways. This is just for fun with a bunch of cars that are too slow for 60-130mph and too poor for VBOX readings. Maybe you can make your own website called SASIOC and make a 60-130mph list on there. If you feel the need to keep stating "MY OPINION" over and over, go ahead, it's the internet. It's just getting a little old. I think we all get what your opinion is.

OK, so I guess my timing was pretty far off earlier. Nuke pointed it out, so I went back and redid all the videos. This time I trimmed the videos down and saved them, so I know they are right for sure. Here are the updated times.

I'd say the videos are probably only good to about 1/10th. Sometimes less if the video is shaky.
