I dont go to Subaru meets much. To tired from working all the time and just no interest to stand around talking about subarus when have done that for the last decade.

The only meet I have been to is the one in chandler by my house at LEE LEE market shopping center and thats been a years since I have been there. I dont have any customers mad at me and if I do, they have not told me about it. Anyone that knows me knows I will go to great lengths to make sure I have done my job right. Clark's a pioneer, just because he isn't posting everything he tunes on here doesn't mean he sucks or isn't busy. He has done stuff that the newbs are just doing, years back.

Also when your around as long as he has you will have unhappy customers, its part of this industry. The fact that he has been around for a long time will tell you a lot.

x2

Clark hasn't been around for 10+ years based solely on his good looks.

Find me a tuner, who has never had his tune "fixed" by another tuner.. I would LOVE to see it. It is the name of the game.

People want someone to blame, and that is often the tuner. Not the fact that their car is held together with zip ties, multiple boost leaks, and every other issue imaginable.

I love it when a tuner won't admit they have been wrong at some point, I agree with every tune being able to be touched up, but if you are an "OG" and the best tuner in the world then how can you not fix a simple idle and drivability issue that is fixed by someone else in 15 of looking at the tune? BTW this was not an initial tune issue, this was an ongoing issue that wasn't fixed, that kind of **** would piss me off, I have no doubt that clark can be a good tuner, but judging by peoples experience with him, it kinda depends if he wants to be a good tuner that day or not, meaning if he doesnt feel like tuning a car that day it will come out ****ty, because of that and the way I've heard about him treating customers when something is off, I'll never do business with him

Then don't do business with him and keep it moving. I am sure neither of you will lose sleep over it.

I have personally fixed tuners mistakes myself. I been tuning car's since they were tuned with a flat screwdriver. There is many ways of tuning fuel on modern vehicles and each tuner has his way. Most of them just tune your wot and then just touch the other areas a bit. Because it would take about 16 + hours to tune a car perfectly on every possible scenario. Must tuners learn from mistakes and it takes a man to admit it. But vent buddy is your thread and I hear you bro, it sucks to pay for someone else mistakes.

That is a different car from the OPs WRX. The OPs car made 604hp. Motor/turbo/trans only has about 1600 miles on it, it's even for sale.

We run the FP 3794 on our "Mexico" STi. It's a 2011 STi (owner lives in Mexico) and he made 709whp at on 34.5psi on C16 fuel.
We recently swapped this turbo out for a BorgWarner s300sx3 turbo for better times in the 1/4 mile (we are keeping the FP 3794 for the Texas Mile in March). We made 675whp at 32psi on E85 on this set-up. We like the BW alot but will be putting the FP 3794 back on around February when we starting getting ready to break 800whp for the Texas Mile.

Very cool. What dyno did it make 709whp on? Why the BW over the FP in the 1/4? Does it spool earlier? I'm running the 3794 and it doesn't come alive until 6000. We are going to play with the tune and coat/wrap the header to see if that helps at all.

oh also, what did it run in the 1/4 with both turbos if you don't mind me asking?

It made 709whp on our 1100SE AWD Mustang dyno. We choose the BW basically because it spools WAYYYY earlier than the FP. The power per psi is better, and the main reason, the hotside on the FP is way to big IMO. Our FP 3794 didn't light up until 6200rpm, but we have a T4 1.15. We are running the Ultimate Racing Twin scroll kit with all the things wrapped, with giant kelford cams.

We never ran the FP3794 here in America. He ran it in Mexico but they don't record times like we do. We had this turbo on the car for the Texas Mile in October and his trap in the 1/2 mile was 167mph. We had major issues with the AP preventing us from breaking into the 200's with this car, so we have upgraded to a Cosworth standalone now. (Our other shop STi broke 201mph, making him the fastest STi in the standing mile).
We just got the BW turbo on and took it to the track for the first time a few days ago. The first day we ran a 10.8, but only got one pass in before the event got rained out. So we rented out the track on Monday, and ran a 10.6 (remember first time running this set-up so he was trying to get a feel for everything and work on his reaction time and 60ft). He trapped a 140.94mph in the 1/4.
On our last pass of the day, he finally got the launch down. Was a perfect launch and he snapped the rear diff pinion right in half. It's crazy! We are still on the stock 2011 STi transmission without any problems, but are now upgrading to a dogbox with PPG gears and an upgraded Albins rear diff pinion. We will be back at the track for IFO on Dec. 9th.

This was from a road tune from KC which I have not had on the actual dyno, but made 580 on the Escort G-Timer. The G-Timer was only off by 3 HP and 5 Tq of the Mach V dyno which made 496/476 on pump only. I am really enjoying this turbo, but I can't wait to play with it a bit and turn it up now that we have some miles on it, and some nicer weather.
