Reflash Stage 2 Map with AP after intake??
Hokay... so I have a question... that I am sure is obvious but just wanted to be safe.
I am currently running Stage 2 Cobb right now on my car... i'll be putting intake on it soon. After I install the intake, should I reflash the Stage 2, or can I just leave it how it is? Like I said, probably obvious... but just wanted to check. Thanks |

What intake? either way you won't need to reflash. I would recommend resetting your ecu (unplug the black side of your battery, press the brake pedal to drain the power, wait 15 minutes, plug it back in and start it up let it idle for about a minute, stay in vacuum until youre in 3rd at 3k rpms and gun it all the way to redline)
EDIT: mods close one of his posts, it's double posted |

cobb has a stage2 map you run with their intake I believe. Is that what you'll be running?
You won't need to reload the base map. I think you mean resetting the ECU, as Spootypuff so kindly described. (I love that weird name btw.) |

you DO NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM need to reset your ecu.
I really wish people would stop spreading this horse crap. One guy who has no idea what he is talking about says it, then 10 more say it, soon everyone thinks its true. YOUR ECU IS IN AN EVER LEARNING STATE. IT NEVER STOPS LEARNING. THAT INTAKE WILL MAKE VERY SMALL CHANGES, AND IF ANYTHING, YOU WILL MAKE IT LESS SAFE AND RUN WORSE UNTIL IT RE-ADJUSTS ITSELF. |
