Thumbs up EFI Logics - CT

If you live in the Northeast, and are looking to get your car tuned. Make the drive to EFI. Chris and his team are fantastic.

I have an 06 wrx and wanted to keep it looking stock(ish) but wanted a bit more power. EFI installed a catted Cobb DP, vf48, 08 sti IC, one step colder plugs, and 255 fuel pump (as well as front and rear sways). Their install work was top notch, even doing some fab work to get the IC to fit just right and modifying the stock heat shield to work over the bigger turbo. Their labor rates were very reasonable for the quality of work they did.

When Chris went to get it on the dyno for a tune my clutch went (92,xxx). No worries, they ordered the right clutch for my application, and scheduled me for my tune a little over a week later. Let me just say this- Chris's "limp tune" (if that's the correct name for it) ran better, smoother, and better gas milage than my previous cobb maps.

A week later my car had a new clutch and was on the dyno. I made 255hp and 299tq, and was very happy with the numbers. Chris said I'd be much higher in HP department if I got rid of the stock cat-back- but I've reached my budget with this car- and if I went all out I'd rather be starting with an STI platform instead of the wrx. What I like most about the tune is how much smoother the car runs, and how linear the power comes on, truly a perfect street tune.

I would recommend EFI to anyone looking to get tuned up and/or have any work done on their car.

I didn't get anything done by EFI yet, but I went there with a friend of mine who was getting his Wagon back after they installed a meth kit and a few various parts. On the way there, my alternator belt snapped and the guys at EFI were kind enough to only charge me for the alternator belt, even putting it on for me.

While it wasn't anything serious, I do like that they were there and offered to do this for me. They did an amzing job with my friend wagon, and I now plan on having my GC tuned by them. Thanks again EFI.

EFI is the only shop I let tune my car.

It really says something about a tuner (Chris) when COBB flies him out to help them.

Default I love EFI

It seems in reviews you only hear the bad. Well in this case the service was so exceptional that I had to write about them..

I recently had my car in for a tune at EFI logics in Bethel CT.
From the initial call to the day of the tune everything went well and the service was top notch.

Chris took the time to talk to me about my modifications, and what I wanted from the tuning.
The resulting tune was amazing both in laying down impressive power, while still being conservative in the safety of the engine.
The powerband is smooth and linear, and I'm very happy with the results.

I highly encourage anyone to take their car to them for any and all subaru work.

Thank you EFI you have made a new customer for life!

Here's another rave review for EFI. Earlier this month they installed some parts for me and did a stage II protune. The facility is impressive and the work impecable. With other cars I've been to five different tuning shops in Fairfield County and Queens NY. There's no comparison to EFI's professionalism. Good job guys.

Couldn't agree more, they are the best. If you live anywhere in NY Tri-State or the North East, you should using these guys for tuning.

Keep up the great work!

At this point in time they are between tuners because of an unfortunate accident. I don't know if they currently have a guy come in some days or if a new hire is the only option at this point. I do know that they will not water down the name with a mediocre tuner. Every one there now is top notch and so will be their new tuner

Mikey is a phenomenal tuner. Right off the bat I was impressed with his wealth of knowledge about Subarus, especially EJ207's which was particularly important to me. Any question I asked him he had an answer for, a very thorough one at that. He's definitely a stand up guy and he was very cool to work with. My car runs better than stock and has such an incredibly smooth powerband. This is hands down my best tune I've ever had.

EFI in general is iconic, the place inspired me to want to some day open up a similar shop in my own area, some years from now. The shop is clean and orderly, and has a ton of eye candy that they've been working on lately. Pete has absolutely awesome customer service skills and has been a huge help every time I called in. He was also a huge help getting us set up when we arrived.

Hands down, it was worth the money and the three hour trip to EFI Logics. Their service is truly exceptional, and as for Mikey, he's awesome and very talented at his trade.

Thanks again guys!

I have heard great things about them and mikey as a tuner... I plan on getting a tune from them shortly after I install all my goodies when I get back, there's no other place I would go in Connecticut.

I'm in CT and I can't enough good things about EFI. Their tuner is currently Calvin from Plano, TX that comes down 1 or 2 times a month. He is incredible, explains all the details and helps you understand what everything your AP is telling you. EFI is extremely professional and staff that has worked on my car have been nothing short of exceptional hence why I keep going to them :-)
