from what i know, water injection is most useful if used along with forced induction such as a turbo. Im not too sure what it would do, if anything on an N/A engine.
dont hold me to it though

no i know for a fact you can pull quite a bitof horsepower out of water injection,my grandpa put one in his old ford truck and it worked good!

From what i've read, you can use water/meth kits on na cars with good results but it won't be as dramatic as if you were using it on a turboed car. If you go to snowperformance's website there should be some info on the na kits and what you should expect from it. I've wanted to do this for quite some time but have never really gotten around to doing it.

Basically it would allow for radically advanced ignition timing that would cause detonation with out it. I don't think you can expect and reasonable gains without being tuned for it.

I thought meth injection was used for radical advancement, water injection just lowers the temps so you can up advancement just a little more. Obviously, you'd want meth, not just water...

I can see meth/h20 injection great for upped compression, but not that much advancement.

but if you run out of meth or h20, your engine is kaboom if the compression is high.

"radical" not being a specific technical term, it is definitely fair to say that meth can do more than water, but don't underestimate the improvements of water alone.

As far as running out goes, it is dangerous and I would never recommend to use to compensate for any physical changes...a NA car can pull timing and a Turbo car can pull timing and boost (on sophisticated systems)...but high compression and superchargers can be a real problem when you run out of meth/h2o
