Their end links are the same as ours, I have over 20000 miles on mine with fairly hard cornering and no issues, save your money

The non-nav units with the color screen have HD radio. Some also have satellite radio capability.

Does someone have the part numbers for the light and socket so I could order them from somewhere?
I love sidemarkers on cars more than the mirror signals.

Yes you are. Not lifting high enough or your jack has reached it's max height possibly

The spare jack in the trunk is one of the best, quickest oem jacks I've ever used. I had my rears off my xv with it in <5mins. And it fits the pinch weld perfectly so no worries about bending anything. Not saying at all that its better than a good floor jack- But if you.need to use the spare, it will work better than you'd expect.

Hmm the jack keeps going up and looks like the body of the car does too but no tire off the ground. Seems abnormally long.

May be quicker to use the spare jack then...
Some heavy duty floor jacks just simply dont have a whole lot of lift.

I know people here have done a lot of lowering and a few have done lifting, but I'm curious, has anyone figured out if there is a set of coils that will stiffen up the suspension without lowering the ride height? I'd like to raise it or keep it the same, but the fact is these coils are just ever so slightly too soft. I wonder if perhaps springs from the FR-S or BRZ will fit, or struts for that matter, as they are based on the same general platform with modifications?

^ would love an answer too! I go camping and just a few extra pounds in the hatch really lowers it down. Would love to stiffen that thing up. Maybe even get a small lift out of it.

I agree. I like the scissor jack more then the floor jack. It takes longer but wont slowly leak air, thus lowering the car, or bend the pinch welds.

On a different note, my oil light came on today while driving on the parkway! what gives! I checked the oil and it was fine, almost to the full mark. I added 1/3 quart (maybe less) and light goes away never to return. Son of a....

If you have a floor jack, lift the car by the differentials. The first time I rotated my tires I used the corner lift points, and getting the jack stands in the correct position was a PITA. A couple weeks ago when I rotated my tires again I used the differentials. So much easier. The front took a little work to get started because it's awfully far under from the front, but it was so much easier to place the jack stands.

If it's just a lift, Subtle Solutions makes a 1" lift kit that will work on this car, if you hadn't heard yet. You may need an alignment done after that though. I like it's ride height, it feels optimal for what I do, but the springs are just too soft.

+1, I was going to post this. Definitely used the diffs to lifts the car with a floor jack. I would only use the pinch welds with the oem lift and only in an emergency.

Also helps to drive up on a couple blocks of woods as well prior to lifting the car - since the Impreza is so low, it makes getting the jack to the diffs a little challenging. Driving up on wood blocks helps a lot

Yeah that wpuld help a LOT!
I've already forgotten how much lower the Impreza is than my new XV.
Man, not needing ramps or a lift to get under it is very nice.

Argh! Why didn't I think of that. All I needed was another 1.5-2" to make the front easy to get the jack under. Thanks! Next time I do any work with it on jack stands I'll run the front up on a couple 2x4's before jacking it up.

yep, 2x4's are all you need. i found a couple of scrap 2x6s and that's all i needed to get enough clearance to do my oil changes. the extra 1 5/8" is the right amount to make life easier.

Couple of 2x10's angle cut and nailed together and you can get it a bit higher, put a screen door pull handle topside end to carry and to act as a wheel stop, find someone building a deck and get some scraps.

I went to home depot and had some 2x10's cut so I could get a little extra clearance.

My brake light went out yesterday.

Does anyone know the replacement bulb model?
