Since it's an '88 it can be legally imported, too. If I had the cash, I'd consider it.

Bummed I don't get to go to Overland Expo in AZ again this year. It's an awesome event.

Love the Delica, a little too small for my growing family.

Headed out Tuesday to pick up my New-to-us Sportsmobile.
I'll honk when I pass through OR. Can't wait to post some pics.

This is the last decent picture I have of my Miata. She's currently in the middle of a V8 swap.

You haven't lived until you've driven a miata, top down, in the snow.

07 R/T with Interceptor package thingy ( it has the bigger brake set up and the bigger sway bars)

really a bigger car then it looks like... lol

found this baybe sitting in a gentlemans yard for 1500 so picked it up and slowly been working on it. having a racecar and a resto-mod car is hard on the wallet..

75 Plymouth Duster w/ 318 bored over 340 intake, 360 heads, long tube headers and some other goodies.... needs to be driven

"compact" in huge letters is really difficult to see when you are clueless I suppose.

The fact that none of the cars I parked with where also compact makes it funnier..

Thanks for the compliments.
I fell in love with van life through a surfing/vanagon weekend with some buddies awhile back and have been itching for one since.
I really like sportsmobiles and sprinters as well. I also looked really hard into importing a delica as well (turbo diesel!).
I ended up staying with the vangon love. I can daily drive it and parallel park it downtown. There is a bit of nostalgia driving one and they offer great cabin views when driving. they are actually appreciating in value quite a bit. Just look at the insane prices on gowesty!!!

Here is it is again having a bit of change of heart.

Hey Man, congrats on the Westy. I've owned a '74 Westy, '71 standard type 2 bus, and a '93 Eurovan. Really wish we could have gone that route, but Reliability and 4wd were the top two items on the list, and the Sporty kind of fell in our laps (if basically buying it sight unseen, and flying to San Jose to pick it up and driving it back is "falling in our laps")

Would still love to have a Syncro Westy.

Maiden Voyage!

Nice! Looks like good times!

Our westy makes into the nearby cascades weekly. We may take it over to the Olympic Peninsula this weekend if the conversion is done. There is still some wiring to be completed.

Also swapping/raising the suspension soon and adding some other tid bits.
Shooting for a trip into Baja Mexico this summer.
