help oil on spark plug wires and
I have oil on my #1 spark plug wire and there is oil around the top portion of the plug most likely from leakage down the tube. I pulled the plug and it is fine whitish dust. Also there is an egg smell coming from the exhaust, There is also the issue of coolant disappearing and the engine started to overheat till I added water and it has been fine for now.

Perhaps you didnt have the plug tight enough, or theres an extra crush washer in there.
Coolant dissapearing and the engine overheating definitly sounds like a head gasket issue. The 2.5L's have a bad tendancy to do this. |

Make sure that it's actually oil. It's common for the PS pump to leak around that area.

Not the head gasket just a bad spark plug gasket on #1, once i picked up the parts only took 30 mins.
no oil found in coolant, also this morning there was no condensation under the oil cap. problem now is i am getting a #3 misfire, I have all new plugs, all of the injectors are firing you can hear them tick through a screwdriver, i also pulled the plug wires at both ends one at a time and you can either see spark of hear spark. Any ideas? |

perform a leak down test. open radiator cap and look for bubbles. You may be leaking coolant into cyl #3.
