Yeah, not sure how their power to weight ratio stacks up against a race bread 250 though.

Wow, that's a bummer. On that note I think I have yet another uppipe leak. this time I probably only have myself to blame for being too lazy to retorque all the nuts and bolts after the gaskets had a few heat cycles in them. Oh well good thing I drive like granny 99% of the time.[/quote]

Yeah a little. Now I need a new uppipe, before I go get tuned. Do you have to go in and retighten everything after you've installed and driven around for a couple days? Do you have your up thermal coated or wrapped?

You should, I would recommend doing so. I didn't because I didn't wan to hassle with taking off the downpipe just to retorque 2 upipe unts. Now I am regretting it.

I don't. I just have the COBB standard uppipe. I would check into a Crucial Racing or Grimmspeed coated uppipe.

I have a Perrin uppipe I'm looking to get rid of. It's not wrapped or coated but I do have a roll of wrap I'd throw in. I'm looking for $80 for it if you have an interest. Worked leak-free for me for 15K miles.

Yeah I was actually going to buy the grimmspeed on payday cause for 20 bucks they coat it. BUT that perrin is way more tempting

Dolmen_tor, uppipe a roll of wrap, and five studs for 80? Does it have the bung to do the resistor cel delete?

I don't think the Perrin pipes have an EGT bung but I could be mistaken.

Yep, Perrin doesn't have the bung for the egt, but it does come with the correct resistor for the egt delete. I'm just trying to clear things out so yes, pipe with studs, roll of wrap, and resistor--$80.

Looks like the College of Western Idaho is offering a short auto body class. Does anyone know if it's worth taking? I've got three vehicles I need to paint in the not too distant future and am considering doing it myself.

No idea but I have one that needs paint too .

My roomate ordered a seibon reverse scoop a while back and they sent him one for a bugeye. The company he ordered it from(not seibon) is really shady and he hasn't been able to return it. It's been sitting in my shed for a while now so if anyone wants it make an offer. I'm sure he would let it go cheap. This is the one http://www.seiboncarbon.com/pdut_det...asp?ItemID=373

alright awesome I"ll take that off your hands. Just to be on the safe side for me I'll probably wait till the 10th of october to get it, if that's fine with you.
Oh where did you put the resistor at if there's no bung?

The resistor goes in the wiring harness plug for the EGT sensor, not the pipe itself

Xissix, replied to your PM. Let me know.

What are the odds someone in town has or has access to an 04 sti tranny and wants to use it as partial trade for a Buell 1125R (asking $8000 for the bike, will sell for $5000 plus a 6 speed)?

My tranny is starting to make all kinds of noise. Works for now but I don't know how much longer I got...

I was thinking cheaper and use my existing axles/hubs/wheels. I'd really be game for anything as long as I can do the whole swap soon.

No problem to wait until the 10th. Just let me know when you're ready. Like Jeff said, the resistor goes into the plug in the harness and the egt is removed completely. I can point out to you where it goes when we meet up.

There is no shipping, you are local to me... unless you want me to mail it to your house. Install would be extra.

Rock On, just let me know.

Just so everyone is clear. No shipping if you pick up the part. The only extra charges are sales tax and install, if required. I can get "most" parts in about a week.
