E85 tune completed at JM Auto. The car made 608WHP and 583WTQ at 38psi on their dyno. It is known to be low reading, so the "Shootout Mode" numbers are used as a reference to the local Dynojet. The numbers aren't too important to me as long as the trap speeds are there. Overall the power seems to be holding great and is about where I would expect based on the boost and fuel.

Why didn't you have NF tune this one? Going to keep power at this level?

It fit great and it seems to be working well. Honestly didn't really seem to add much on the stock turbo setup, but I may have been limited by intake or TMIC. But on this setup it is really holding the top end well. Power is flat all the way to redline with no drop off.

NF is no longer tuning cars. JM is only a few miles from me, specializes in Subaru's, and has an AWD dyno. It's a good match and they've been good to work with so far. Power will stay at this point. The parts were all sized for this level (pumps, injectors, turbo, etc). Trying to avoid breaking driveline parts, but it will probably happen anyways.

Gen 2. The 6466 was only ever offered with the Gen 2 configuration.

Tried to make a speedo video, but it wouldn't hook. Need to get some warmer weather.

Looks like a complete build! Do you feel the injector size is pushing its limits or are the IDCs reasonable (you have a bunch of other fueling mods). This is very cool! Damn that power curve is so flat. In your opinion is this because of the rotated setup or cams mostly?

The fuel system is the limit. Pumps and injectors are basically maxed out. Which one depends on where the fuel pressure is set to.

The header, rotated setup, and cams all seem to be working well to hold power up top. The top end looks a lot flatter than my 2002 WRX setup ever did (no drop off).

what oil pump did you use?

great results, I need to put up my dyno/build sheet at some point. I emulated your 6266 setup and made 543whp on a dyno dynamics.

how is the 4 puck?

11mm OEM oil pump. That sounds like a good result on the 6266.

I prefer the solid disc compared to the sprung (6 puck) disc. It's definitely touchy either way, but I like the quick shifts the lighter disc can provide and seems to have less chatter than the sprung (puck style) discs.

Your posts are a wealth of knowledge! Going back to fueling : you think other than injectors this setup would not be enough to hit 700ish whp (irrespective of turbo size)? If so what would you add? It looks pretty complete aside for small injector size (small for future applications, it clearly works great now)

thanks for feedback, interesting point on the disc. I have run the sprung 6 puck on at least 4 cars (I've had a few scoobs) and I know what you mean on chatter. I always go to braided clutch line, new slave cylinder and I have tried different combos of pulleys/flywheels. Right now I have the oem flywheel, fluid dampr, and fully balanced. It has barely any chatter and I just installed the clutch pedal ITS bracket and GS master cylinder brace, which made a noticeable difference in pedal feel.

I plan to go to gsc stage 2 cams and closed deck when I refresh the motor, but we shall see.

glad to see you back in a hatch

I sized my fuel system for the 700-750WHP range (Dynojet) and the results are about what were expected. For someone who runs only E85 and the car can often sit for a while at a time, the newer "X" series injectors made sense.

http://injectordynamics.com/true-motorsport-injector/

The AEM 320 pumps are also made for E85, have lower current draw, and a bit flatter response as boost pressures rise. The Walbro 450's would provide a bit more flow at this boost but draw a lot more current.

I could swap to 2000cc injectors and new pumps and likely get a bit more power, but I'm going to leave it as-is for now. I feel that this may already be past the limit of having a reliable drivetrain so I'd like to figure that out first.

They run where the stock hardlines were.

I prefer the OEM flywheel and a solid disc. I've found this to be the best way to hold a lot of power but still be reasonably easy to drive. The car came with the 6 puck sprung and it chattered just like it's done for me on other cars. The solid 4 puck is a much smoother engagement. I have an ITS bracket, but I have not attempted to install it yet.

I got my hands on a pre-production prototype of the upcoming GrimmSpeed catback for the GR hatch and did a quick video. It looks and sounds really good. Full review coming soon.
