My Native American name is Squatting Dog... I mean, Eating Dog.

Actually, spoke to Jesse about it yesterday -- I have to go check out a car for my mom. In fact, she might join the Subaru family. I wont' be back in Hopkinton/Milford until 8:30 at the earliest, so I'm probably out.

Too bad, but its a smart move. Always good to have a keen set of eyes for car shopping. I want my mom to do the same thing when she retires. Good luck.

She wouldn't know where to start, and she needs a reliable, new-to-her car. Bonus points if I can help out with some of the maintenance!

It's going to be awkward, my dad sticks out like a sore thumb with his 06 gto at CAP wed nights. A group of wrx's is going to crash the party. I might stop by just to see how it goes lol

I would always go with my old STi, and that wasn't exactly a classic car

If I was free, I'd bring my Miata... it's a '95... Classic!

Oh man I had no idea you were from the boards! I thought you guys rolled in to get parts or something, I'm sorry We'll be back there for the show again soon, I had quite a bit of fun. Haven't been there in a long time.

Good to see you again James, after you left I realized it's been 4 years since I last saw ya.

For next week, because of the 4th of July, the meet will be on Tuesday night at the Cheiftain in Plainville since Craig will be back from Europe. The following week (the 11th) we might head back to CAP again if the weather is right. The minute of rain really kept a bunch of old folks indoors, the lot is usually packed.

Yeah it's awesome having him in the car scene. I couldn't make it last night i had plans. I'll make sure i try and make the next one. He said everyone was cool, there was no trouble.. It sounded like the older guys didn't mind the new scenery. Which is nice for a change, muscle car and import groups don't normally get along to well in past experience lol

Zomg i take it you saw my txt? Given your "quotes".. Or was he callin it a "2000"?

Muscle car vs. import...

I watched it on Netflix the other day because there was a Subaru on the cover... it's about as bad as you think it'd be.

I actually also watched this for the first time, about two days ago. I really did like it for the most part. It was like EXACTlY like Tokyo drift though. Hah but I did enjoy watching that freaking mustang crash at the end...

Two racers. The good guy is the 'loser' the whole time. The 'bad guy' gets his comeuppance and the good guy becomes the hero. The end.

...

I like when he goes to 'fire up' his STI after fixing it up and doesn't need to get in the car to push the clutch down...just reaches through the window... must have disabled that.

Also, that he doesn't feel his brakes are mushy until it's catastrophic.

haha, that movie looks like crap....I'll probably have watched it before the week is done.

Yeah I really liked the CAP show. I could drool over classic muscle and hot rods all day. I think if you show some interest, the muscle/hotrod crowd realize your just car people too... I'm sure we'll have the hesitation in 20 years to all the kool kids who show up in their electric fiat 600s to a carshow. "shiny!, observe it, gasoline cars!"

Definitely, that was a clean looking bug eye, good to see a classic (US) wrx show up to a classic car show. Less and less of those around.. sorry Zack.
