battery corosion?
i opened up my hood i was gonna do the grounding mod...
and i noticed the neg terminal of my battery and the battery all around the hold down has corosion all over it... i'll have a pic up if i can find anywhere to host. |

Chances are you either over filled the battery, or took the car over a bad bump and splashed battery fluid out onto tha battery top. The best way I know to clean up the resulting corrosion, is to use baking soda and water with a throwaway tooth brush.
You might want to put some silicone greese on the terminals after the clean up. Fred |

A little pretty well known trick. Glue a penny right next tothe terminal.. it somehow "pulls" the corrosion onto it

well i never filled the battery, it's pretty new
but the bad bump is totaly feasable w/ the offroad teritory that the car endures... i never knew that the battery could be the problem... baking soda and water and a toothbrush eh... good tip |
