CFO ixnays turbo Forester project...
Well the turbo Forester project is dead before it started... The CFO (my wife) has unfortunately convinced me that the brand new 2001 Forester S Premium is not the wisest decision with regard to a turbo'd vehicle... The good news is I have a Matrix Engineering kit for my 95 Jetta 2.0L on order. JE forged pistons (8.5 CR), T3/4 hybrid, top mount Spearco intercooler, 3" exhaust with high flow cat etc. Clutch type differential goes in hopefully end of next week. 14.5PSI of boost= 250 flywheel HP (but only 2 wheel drive). Anyway, have enjoyed reading the posts and learning about Suby's. Fact is I really like this board, but I guess I'll be spending my time over at VWVortex. Hopefully, I'll have reason to come back to this board someday... Unless they make a 4motion GTI VR6 24 valve available in the US... Thanks to all who have helped me learn a bit more about Subarus.
