like anything aftermarket that works amazing. Like a diff center diff or an electrical center diff.

My diffs are very sick. They whine, sneeze and puke.

No sick diffs in my car, I got a flu shot last week.
But if you meant aftermarket diffs then research quaife, cusco, kazz, etc. Then come up with some specific questions to ask. Not sure what you expect to get by asking in current manner **in a technical section none the less. Last edited by JarHarms; 10-02-2012 at 07:27 PM. Reason: dumb phone |

I tell them a simple KAAZ 1.5 way will do wonders for the rear diff. Just purchase for WRX GDA (not GDB). AWD donuts, PWR slides. It helps the rear step put when you power out of turns. |

okay thank you! Does it get you alot more turn in/oversteer. would it be better to just stiffen the rear or would it be better to stiffen and use this differential? you also cant handbrake under power or with your foot on the clutch right? or is that a 2 way?

If you want to do somthing actualy worth while, adding a front LSD is the way to go.
Putting one in the back before dealing with the front is like polishing a turd. Yes it costs more. But you want SICK right? SICK would be putting one in the front. DERP would be putting one in the rear first. The only options for the center in the 5mt are made to tighten is up. Which will just make the car plow more on the road. They are normaly used in snow and gravel setups. |

Sounds like you are trying to drift your Subaru. Sell it and buy something rwd.
But that being said you also have the option to just weld ur diff. |

I know i wish i could convert but I'm 2 hours away from home in the noreaster part of New York so we get alot of snow. I have to travel it about every other weekend. I want driftability to a certain extent but also traction. And safety.

Sorry for asking a stupid question but what is wrong with a 6mt swap or sti diff (if it is possible)?
Isnt the 6mt the best for 90% of hardcore sick drivers? |
