Got my car tuned from Travis Barnes. He made some very nice changes over cobb ots map. Now thinking I'm going to go stage 3 sometime. My understanding is I need a bigger intercooler, higher flowing injectors, the turbo of course. Fuel pump is done... what the fuel rail?

Fuel rails are a great upgrade! Our stock fuel setup makes it to were not all cylinders get an equal amount of fuel in higher rpm. A fuel rail kit will prevent this.

I chose boomba fuel rail kit. Boombaracing.com

they make it so cylinder 3 gets fuel last, so if your pump runs out of flow that cylinder leans out first. unless your running a huge turbo and even if you are there are pumps that can flow high enough.

I would not worry about a fuel rail at this point. Injector upgrades with a fuel pump upgrade and the intercooler will be fine. If your planning to go to the point of needing bigger fuel rails then your at the point of popping a stock internalized motor anyway. There are ways to calculate the amount of fuel you actually need. In your case 750cc-850cc injectors would be more than enough on pump gas.

The guys that are beginning to see fuel flow issues are running E85 which requires 30% more flow over regular gas, have built motors, big turbo setups, and injectors that are 1300cc and up.

Good to know. I think injectors will be next until I find a sweet deal on an sti tmic and turbo.

I started a thread in transmission/drivetrain and haven't got much help so ill leave this here as a question for a tuner.

I was wanting some input on Clutch kit you guys think I should go with. I'm currently running an ACT HD-SS and its starting to slip after a lot of spirited driving over the past 2 years. Here is my set-up

02 WRX
Built/Stroked ej205
08 LGT gearswap
Runs on E85 with slightly higher comp. Pistons
Turbo is Blouche 18gxt 7cm (quick spool)

SAE CORRECTED DYNO #s
369awhp
360awtq

Uncorrected I believe its
430awhp
421awtq

I also don't have the greatest history with the 02/03 WRX 5speed as alot of people don't, so I need something with a low Shockload to the internals that will still take a little abuse if I slip the clutch.

If you read all of that, I appreciate it and anticipate suggestions.

Thanks.

Put the ACT HD-SS back in it or if you want to go a little stronger go with the ACT XD-SS. You not going to find a smoother clutch for those power levels. You did good if you got 2 years of driving driving hard.

There are other options but the ACT just always seems to be the one I like and the customers like them for drive ability and quality.

Spoke to soon. Lost 3rd gear on a slipping clutch going into gear at around 40mph... time for a 6speed. Tired of this.

No....this is my 3rd rebuild with LGT gears. No more "Fixing". The first two builds didn't even last 1000miles due to incorrect lashing and poor craftsmanship in the "builds" I then switched shops and got 13000k out of this one. Instead of doing the same thing again, I'm just going to spend the money and do the swap myself. Hell, I could of already bought the swap + extra with what ive spent on rebuilds. Nightmare.

Hey guys! Just got a tune from element and had them install my stage 2 set up.

I have a 2013 base model hatch and now with the invidia n1 single exit, invidia catless downpipe, and cobb short ram intake.

I was hoping to just barely hit the 300 hp mark but i fell a little short.
im running 288 hp at the wheels now and I can feel the difference =)

What direction should I go now??

Oh yeah, which local dyno did you use? Where are your printed dyno sheets. Please post them.

Enjoy it, when you get bored you'll need turbo/fueling setup to gain more I think, maybe someone can correct me.
