Default Pencil drawing of an Impreza getting dirty (WIP)

Well, to get things started here, I'll explain what I am doing. I typically do drawings of people/animals for fun in my spare time, I have tried "mechanical" things before without any great success. Now I want to push myself a little more, and wanted to do a drawing of some sort of rally car or any type of Subaru. After looking through lots of pictures of my own car and rally car pictures, nothing really popped out at me as OMGIWANTTODRAWTHAT until I came across a picture that Ath took, after seeing it, I contacted him and he was gracious enough to give me the super-high res version so I can see all the tiny details in it, and got me started on drawing it. Here are some pics of my past drawings I have done:

And this is the picture that inspired me to get drawing, taken by our very own Ath, not exactly sure which member it is, but I know it's a DI.com guy.

And this is the bare bones progress that I started a few minutes ago. This drawing won't be done anytime soon, as I do this stuff in my spare time whenever the mood hits me. I'll continue to post progress as I continue, hope to hear some remarks from folks.
