New Data for DW Injectors and Pumps (Battery Offset Included!)
As OE ECUs and aftermarket tuning systems become more intricate and allow the control of more systems and in more detail, the need for more information about the components controls becomes a necessity.
As we entered the 2012 SEMA show last week, we also launched a new version of the DW website - www.deatschwerks.com Along with this update, the standard information we provide for each DW injector was updated to include battery offset, injector specs, and nominal (static) flow rates at various common pressures. These offset values are standardized at whole number values. Some ECUs ask for specific voltages and pressures, and that is where the Battery Offset Wizard steps in with nearly infinite data points - DW Battery Offset Wizard I get inquiries throughout the day with customers asking what size injectors and fuel pump they need. We updated our injector calculator to be more user friendly and added a fuel pump calculator that utilizes injector size as an important parameter. ...and if the site leaves you more than ...you can always get in touch with me directly at 405.217.0699 or [email protected]

Do you guys have any info relating to using your injectors with e85? Since we skew our injector scaling for e85, I also find the need for different pulse width values.
Can you offer any insight into this? It would be nice to hear some thoughts directly from an injector manufacturer. Or better yet, appropriate e85 scaler and pulse widths for your injectors would be very useful as a starting point. Great new site! I can see this being incredibly useful for a lot of people |
