We'll since I got screwed on getting new wheels today in a trade I am stuck with mine... Isn't a bad thing as I've grown to like them. So I decided to buy some 5mm spacers and bolt them back on now I can have that flush race car look I've been trying to get! 255 DWS tires are a must after I burn these Dunlop Direzzas up

Ok, well didn't do today but in the last two weeks I've done:

I put on winter tires, dunlop 3D, for the third season iirc now, and I forgot to put them on correctly so had to swap sides a week later.

Did the: oil, trans oil (um ya, don't ask ), had to check the thermostat so I just swapped it for a new one, and finally put on a replacement tail light.

Still need to adjust the clutch cable or replace it, I really should go with a hydrolic swap...

OMG that's a first. Did an oil change - started up the car - hear a strange gushing noise the second I turn on the car. Immediately turn off car.... oil gushing out of oil filter.

Family coming i to town so no time to fix it right now, but looks like the old oil filter gasket may not have come off, this causing a double gasket squirting oil. Get to fix it tomorrow or Fri :/

Aww crappy. I almost doubled up crush washers when I did mine a few weeks ago because I was so convinced that it was just the drain plug and the old one had fallen out. Nope. Took some surgical gorilla strength to remove.

Installed new front O2, performed a smoke test, found a small leak at the BPV hose to turbo inlet(Fixed it), and filled up with gas. Still didn't change anything . Sometimes I wish I wasn't five freaking hours away from IAG or MachV, so I could just drop it off; and pick it up when it's fixed!

Default Borla hush cbe and invidia belmouth db

This weekend I'm doing a little driving to get a Borla Hush Catback and an Invidia 4" Split Bellmouth Catless downpipe for my 06 wrx. Hoping to see a nice increase in power and sound. Ive heard nothing but good things about this set up, which is why I'm making the 4 hour drive. Its in DE, and I'm in Va, BUT i have a beach house in md to crash in, so theres that. The guy selling it says its in great condition, and the pics he sent me all look pretty good. Wish me luck and give me some feedback on this set up if you have the time.

Hopefully you have a tune lined up for when you install that downpipe.

I have an accessport, I'm planning on running on stage 2, but ill be running a stock intake. That should be fine right? Know of any problems with only a TBE and AP on a stock 06 wrx? please share

You'll be fine with a stock intake on the Stage 2 flash, heck your stock intake will yield you more results then short ram afternarket systems (I use an AVO panel filter). Ultimately you'll still want to get yourself a professional tune at some point. That will give you the best results for whatever mods you have.

For now, go stage 2 n enjoy.

I think it's a must that everyone does that one time.

Trust me, it will never happen again.

Layed on the ground under the rear of my car for 45 min, trying to find the clunking/creaking in the suspension. Still can't find where the noise is coming from, so now I don't care until something breaks.

I also rotated my tires for the last time before the winter set-up goes on, and messed with tire pressures a little.

That sucks, I just discovered a noise coming from the front of my car, and I'm putting off the inspection because I fear that something is broken.

The front of my car sounds like a NYC cab. Squeaks and rattles galore. No idea what it is, either, even after greasing the sway bar bushings and tightening the coilovers, still makes noise.
