But when i drove around 70 mph from Illinois to Tennessee it got around 22~24 mpg, that was before my last oil change. I changed oil from whatever was inside to mobil1 5w30 synthetic bc there is no rotella synthetic 5w30 around here and added an axleback muffler delete and voila from 22 to 18, just wondering why.

I get the same mpg with sports mode on that tune and slightly less on sports sharp

I see the biggest variances from temperature changes. Seems like when it's under 55* I drop a couple mpg. In my wrx I see 22mpg at 80mph. Dropping to 70mph brings it up to 23.5. At 60 it jumps to 25 mpg. If Subaru would have given us a .50 top gear it would help immensely. If I keep it below 2500 rpm I've seen 27mpg over a tank of gas.

Intelligent (push down on the knob) – smoothness
Improved drivability in inclement weather – the engine is less sensitive to movement of the accelerator pedal
Smoother operation in traffic, with moderate power delivery
Increased fuel economy by up to 10 percent
Well-balanced performance
