team orange has the cleanest look of the group imo, but the very first pic of the lineup is sick

Damn Tino thats a real nice shroud. Can you pm me more information about it? Looks like official race car stuff! Would something like this be able to fit on a stick vehicle ala 06 WRX? It looks tons better than the shrouds offered by many places.

Heres some pics with the bonnent closed... The shroud is fixed directly to the intercooler which the intake pipe is fitted to also as you can see from the pics. There is enough gaps there to be sure that in the case of movement it will be fine. The Shroud is fixed by two fixing points Top and bottom) either side of the IC and is very strong with no flex at all. So i dont think it will be an issue going to the next phase.. I am going to trim some of the rear lip as only a small section is needed for the rubber to fix to it. Also going to change a couple of little things just for asthetics before taking it to the carbon man.. |

Hey guys, so i don't know to much about v-mounts but the designs of these, do they give a difference in performance..like i have noticed that the fm is closer so i was guessing for the original quick spoll that we all love but what does the v-mount do????

okay so i was just looking up why people did this and where this started from and i kinda just answered my own question but i still would like to know if this helps the suby in running performance.the way they were explaining it for the FD i can see it working. for the suby we get our quick throttle response and it splits the air more evenly through the motor...

has anyone seen a Mid mount setup on a subie yet?
almost the same as V mount but the intercooler is mounted further forwards and the radiator sits directly behind it, you would need a smaller then OEM radiator though thats the only problem, so the pipes could run on either side of it. |

No never seen that..i heard of it but never seen it...but with the radiator sitting right behind the intercooler it sounds like it functions just like a regular fm just closer to the motor...

pretty much, its popular in 240's because theres plenty of space in front of the motor for it, but its extremely effective, and you wouldnt have to mount your radiator at an angle, but i think in a subaru the ac condenser would get in the way
