2", 2.125", or 2.25" custom exhaust question
well i searched through the forums and archives and chouldn't find any information about anything less then 2.5" exhausts, seeing as how i believe that this is too big for my application, i figgered that i'd ask.
basics: 1990 Legacy LS AWD, no major modifations. K&N filter and SPT shortshifter is all. So what i'm asking is which one would be best for my daily driver, freeway cruiser? I'm thinking that i'd like power in the 2500-4000 range. if i used a 2.5" the power will come too high in the powerband, right? so which would be best; 2 and an eighth, 2 and a quarter, or just 2 inch? exhaust tone/noise is not a problem. Opinions welcome, facts and data more welcome. thanks in advance. Jason [This message has been edited by Jgrahn555 (edited February 16, 2001).]

For a NA car, 2.25 is the largest you want to go. If I could do it again, after all the informed opinions I've received, I'd go 2.
