My Perrinand K&N filter would touch the pipe. My APS pod intake is perfect w/the slim filter.

i can if i lift it up. but i think when the hood closes, it pushes it down? Does you perrin charge pipe make it stiffer? thats where mine sags, at the accordian pipe.

I actually have a TXS brace underneath the mounting ring of the filter so it won't hang down. Although, the Perrin MAF pipe does help with rigidity. I am able to rotate the MAF hose so it has the perfect angle.

i dont think any airbox with panel filter will fit. ARC airbox is the same dimensions as stock, correct? get a SRI and a Apex'i cool air box, more of a covering, i beleive it works but not 100% sure. It probably cost less then an ARC airbox anyway. If you already have the ARC, maybe sell it for some money.

Did any of you guys have any tuning issues when you moved your filter into the fender-well using the TurboXS short ram? I did a similar mod with mine except I use a silcone hose and relocated it a little farther up in the fender. And now I am getting a P0171 code. |
