impreza lift and bull bar
[IMG][/IMG]
I lifted my subie the other day during my lunch hour! The front was easy as a strut swap from a 2003 forester. The rear took a little more fabrication. The hard part is grinding the holes out in the body for the forester struts to line up. Once that was done just put in a set of 98 ob control arm brackets and 99 forester sway bar bushing mounts. The alignment came out perfect! As for the bull bar.... I had a friend that had a bull bar behind his shop off a 99 dodge truck. When I put it up to my car I found it matches perfectly to the tie downs on my Subie! It was literally a 5 minute install! I do nee to make a couple bracket for the back bolt holes this weekend. will keep updated

How secure is it?
I'm looking for a way to mount some lights on my outback sport. Do you think there is enough ground clearance for it to work on an un-lifted one? |

Did you use front and rear brackets or did you do something different in the front

nice!
I'm looking to put a bar on my 2004 impreza outback sport myself but having trouble finding a fit. Anyway you could take a pic of underneath where it mounts and maybe a measurement of how wide the brackets are? Thanks.
Looks great dude! |
