I think someone already tried the BRZ seat swap, and the studs don't line up.

It's true, the studs on the BRZ seats don't line up but you can weld on the ones from the Impreza seats. However, I didn't want to ruin my stock seats should I ever want to put things back the way they were (like... if I trade this car in when Subaru makes a Hatchback WRX again)

I do still sort of like BRZ seats better, but these WRX seats feel worlds better. Drove around for hours in them and I am TOTALLY satisfied with the results!

I know this is off topic from seats (which look dope btw), do you have any info on your exhaust swap? I really like the look of the dual exhausts!

Yeah, the WRX seats complement the car anyways. I've slept in both 2011 WRX Limited seats and my BRZ seats multiple nights (road trips!) and can say that the BRZ seats are more comfortable to sleep in, surprisingly. And I'm not a small guy.

'11 seats are different than the '15 seats in the WRX. I think they're pretty similar to sit in between the new WRX and BRZ seats.

This car is all sorts of legos.
'11 WRX Wheels
'12 Impreza Sport Floor Mats & Side Skirts
'13 BRZ Exhaust (with quad tips)
'14 XV Crosstrek Tail Lights
'15 WRX Seats

The exhaust is literally just for looks. There's hardly any more sound out of it than a stock Impreza exhaust, but I didn't want a noisy exhaust on this one. (I have a 2.5 RS Coupe for that). There's details on the BRZ exhaust I have on it here.

Coming from CA, this is probably the most snow we'll see unless we go to the mountains. Lol, luckily we came later in the day when the snow already started melting. This was Yosemite, CA.

Hey this thread is great. I just bought 2015 impreza 2.0i base model 5 speed...love it. But anyways the first thing (within first 2 weeks) I did was put a kicker hs8 under the seat & installed an old sat radio that I had laying around! The sound system is def weak! But anyways as mush as I love wrx I really don't need all the power so I'd like to just get my slow little Impreza to look how I want! Seen a lot of great exterior mods here that I intend to do, tints and rims....but any suggestions on interior mods? I'm interested in maybe a new shift knob & pedals....everything I look up & try to search only leads to wrx items...any suggestions?

Interior can be fun to play around with, but there's not too many parts you can toss in. The silver trim panels on the dash are commonly dressed up with different color vinyl or Carbon Fiber vinyl. I've also seen people swap parts from WRXs for the covered cup holders, though the arm rest gets much lower if you do that. Steering wheel swaps / upgrades are something you could explore, too. The base models have a plastic wheel so you could upgrade to a leather-wrapped wheel. Shift knob and pedal options are seemingly limitless.

Any insight on how to get the front bumper off to install the hellas (I tried and couldnt get it to come off for some crazy reason), and did you buy a premade wiring harness or do it yourself?

Yes. Do all the pop rivets first and then there is one PRESS rivet in each wheel well. Use the corner of a flat head screw driver to push the middle IN And then you can "peel" the bumper from the clips. There is also one screw on each side of the grill. Let me know if you need help, I'm in philly if you're in jerz.

Thanks! I def missed the press rivets, and possibly the screws on both side. I only remember removing a load of the plastic pop rivets lol.

Did you buy a premade wiring harness? I have no problems making my own, but I am not sure my homemade harness will look as good as a premade sleeved one.....

The press rivets are prob your culprit. The screws just hold the grill to the bumper. It's easy once you do it once but just takes a little bit to learn the process.

I never use premade harness... Just extend the stock factory powers and ground at mounting point is easiest in my opinion.

How far are you from philly? We need to meetup, lol

I live about 1700 miles away from you bro, unfortunately my name can be misleading. I live in North Dakota...thanks for the offer though!

Think im gonna install the hellas this weekend, so many crazy drivers around here and the stock horn is so pathetic is drives me crazy.

Got the RA flaps installed:

I didn't buy a premade wiring harness, my friend wired the horns together and it seemed pretty simple to do instead of buying it from subimods. Saved me some money lol
