The girl on the cover looks like she got hit in the face with a shovel.

Heard this issue will contain the Mecca of LSD information.

I will let Jenny know that you all love her, not a great shot of a very cute girl. The cover does rock though.

the is the first issue of my new subscription.

the writing in it leaves a lot to be desired of.

reads like some high school boys had a report to write.

photography is nice though.

That's great since we only have our GEDs. It's comments like these that make me wonder what real intellectuals with college degree's can say about real writing, instead of idiots from the back of the room yelling: "YOU SUCK."

Considering the magazine is written BY Subaru People FOR subaru people ( not some high paid magazine mogul people) - I appreciate the fact that you guys put the effort to actually DO a magazine.

Will be waiting to get mine in a week.

I wasn't dissin' the helicals, I just lumped them into the Torsen category like all the pros do.

I'd like to give out what the next issue's article will be, but I'm afraid the MeanEditor will holler at me.

so- you can't take criticism, huh?

if I sent my work out with as many typos as I saw, i'd get fired. remember, spell check only checks for misspelled words. you still need to proof it for grammatical errors.

but, if you want to make excuses for shortcomings instead of addressing them, you go for it.

fwiw, i do have a college degree, a BFA to be exact. from one of the best small colleges in the country. I place ads in magazines for a living, so I have some room for criticality.

Yes, errors happen. And, many times, what is perceived as an "error" is actually the correct usage, per AP guidelines.

We're very happy you're good at what you do. But to draw any comparison between proofing an ad vs. an entire magazine is not even close to being an accurate comparison. Nobody understands that until they do it for a living.

Yes, we constantly strive to improve, but the "high school writing" comment isn't a criticism. It's petty.

Now, back on topic.
