Subiefest 2009 - Return to Willow!

Subiefest 2009 is coming back to Willow Springs (Rosamond, Calif.) on Saturday, October 10! This year features more on-track entertainment and cooler temperatures!

- Stephan Verdier's precision drifting demo
- Chance to ride in the GST Time Attack car around Big Willow
- ESX Drag Demo
- Lapping on Big Willow

I really don't get why you are having it at the same place as the year before? When you were all complaining about how hot it was, have it at a different place every year! East coast or even Canada! Do they rent subies at LAX airport? LOL!

This year we're doing it during a much cooler time of the year for the area. So the weather should be sunny, but not killer. Someday we'd like to do an East Coast event.

I think there should be 2 Subiefest events or 1 centralized event. Granted I'm hoping to make next year (if there is one) no matter where it's held. Road tripping is fun so hell I would drive for 2-3 days to meet some cool people and maybe get to take some laps around a track.

Plus there is always WBM for the East Coast people.

I'm flying out to El-ay on Wednesday and may go check-out Subiefest, in a rented Ford Taurus....

Wicked Big Meet is teh biggest subaru thing on the east coast (with near 2000 attendees), it will be cool to see how you left coast subie people have a good time. Sorry the Brat will not fit in the overhead bin on Virgin Air...
