Beej's knee is dislocated and his kneecap is broken. He isn't in any pain because they have him on tons of meds

He was on his way home from Boone thismorning going around a left hand turn when another car was halfway in his lane. He swerved right which put his car mostly in the grass. He went back left and lost control and ended up facing a black Ford Excursion. The collision was mostly head-on. The car is totaled from what we know but I'm gonna head over to the salvage yard later to take a look. We can all thank God that he is ok considering the size of the Excursions.

Wow, looks like a really nasty accident, but glad to hear he's okay. Looks like the passenger compartment retained its shape pretty well, so the structure did its job and protected him. Hope the rehab process goes quickly and he can get a new Subie soon!

Sorry to see another crushed Subaru but by the looks of that it could have been a lot worse than a knee/leg injury. I'm glad that he will be alright though.

I just got off the phone with him a few minutes ago. The surgery went well but he is in some pretty spectacular pain. He also has a fever of 102. He said they might not let him go home tonight since he hurts so bad so maybe tomorrow morning. His leg is in an immobilizer as well as his wrist which was fractured. He seems to be in high spirits considering everything. If I hear more I'll let you guyz know.
