I will no longer promote FAT after discovering and dealing with numerous lies and arrogance from the shop owner. Last edited by irascible; 08-04-2009 at 02:14 PM. |

So just to check in here...
These twin charge cars are just as they were 8 years ago when I happened upon this forum right? Always "In the process of" and never with outstanding results? A huge investment for "meh" results? |

thats all i have for now as far as pictures . not the best i know. but , my man Ryan at Jakey Products is responsible for the fabrication work . absoloutly second to none. anyone interested in headers or exhaust work of anykind , and pretty much anything else thats made of metal , this guy is great .
as for the rest of the build , i dont really want to say too much . id be there myself but work has once again drawn me away from my baby . the DP is 3 1/2 and made of 321 . the rest of the exhaust will be 3 1/2 as well. custom jakey products twin tip . the intake manifold is going to be absoloutly silly . i gaurentee it will be controversial , but i dont think long a$$ runners are good for top end , so we shall see . the dyno will reveal all. also the supercharger will no longer be mounted off to the side . its sitting in the middle of the engine now , as a real supercharger should! looks way tighter , but as always took some time to fit in . ill try to get demitri to take a few pics . |

New pulley on the supercharger may help you get more boost at lower rpms. There are a couple of MB vendors that make them, or get one fabricated to your specs. The trick would then be to get the SC to disengage once the turbo is spun up.

the new 8-rib pully's should be ready monday . now i just need to scource out a belt for it . Ya the supercharger has a elctro-magnetic clutch on the nose of it . as soon as boost ref on the turbo is higher than the S/C , it clutches out . this thing should be good for 18 lbs on the s/c .

You may have already posted this, but how do you plan on tuning this set up? Seems like it would be a complete PITA...
