I had this issue with my 08 a few weeks ago. My front driver's side bulb was very dim when it would happen. I replaced the bulb and I have not had a issue since. I am wondering if Subaru has a bad bulb supplier.

Just started happening to me today! Bulb not out, just blinking quickly.

1) 2012 WRX Limited
2) 8917 miles
3) Left turn signal
4) Going to Heritage Subaru/VW tomorrow

Update:
5) Went to service department and showed them the TSB... They nodded and said "second one we've had to fix today".

Mine did it again, same side. I zip tied where the loose connection was. No more issues. Stupid thing

It's been about a year since I first had this issue on my 2011 WRX Limited, and it has not returned.

FYI, my fix was to turn the signal light on, pop the hood and reach in with a flexible claw pick-up tool and tweak the wires just a bit. This way I was able to avoid removing the air box.

Handy thing to have around anyway.

I fixed mine last night. Hopefully for good and it doesn't return. I replaced the bulb as well as relieving as much tension on the wire's as possible.

1) 2010 WRX
2) Started at 18,000 miles (currently at 20,5xx miles)
3) Passenger-side blinker
4) Bringing it to get fixed under warranty during next oil change

This is literally the only problem I've had with the car since I bought it new in March 2010. It's a very trouble-free car.

5. Now it's the RIGHT turn signal. WTF. Fourth Subaru I've ever extensively driven and this is the first time something as stupid as this has happened.

I unplugged the turn signal bulbs and replugged them in making sure they were seated tightly. Been about 3 months and so far so good.

Called SOA today to complain about the turn signal issue cause the dealership doesn't have a clue how to fix a design flaw, and SOA said this is a first time they've heard of this happening and said if people are having these problems they should call SOA and put in a claim..smh

Ive had 2 that have had the same issue:
Year: 2011 2.5i premium sedan
Miles: 3k
Signal: Driver side
resolution: Dealer replaced turn signal, said it was a known issue.

Year: 2012 STi Hatch
Miles:6k
Signal: Drivers side
resolution: reaching back and wiggling the wires resolved the issue. Currently at 14k miles and have not seen the issue since.

Took mine in last week to get this looked at because it went from my driver's side to the passenger side and became a consistent problem. Apparently, the fix now that my dealership is doing is to replace the entire headlight assembly instead of the wiring harness. Seems a bit unnecessary but warranty is warranty and might as well use it.
