Question how to read ignition timing datalog?

I have the Auterra/Nology logger, and I was getting some hesitation and thought I heard knock in the 3-5k prm range (stage 2 TXS unichip). I took a log of ignition timing vs engine rpm. Upon reviewing it, I guess I have no idea what I'm looking for. When rpms would rise on a WOT section, timing would drop significantly, which I would expect anyway. But, how can I tell if it is retarding timing due to a knock condition (i.e. dropping timing more than normal).
At idle, I would see timing #'s around 12 at idle, 35-40 at a 2500 rpm cruise, and it would drop to around 6-12 at WOT when the rpms reached spanned from 4000 to 6000.

Does this info seem right?
