AMS built and tuned 2.5l 2008 STI, 450+ whp on a 20g.. on a Mustang Dyno.. :O
Really really impressed with this car. Making 454whp on a 20g is pretty stout, but when you realize that this would be about 490whp on our Dynojet it becomes simply astonishing. And to top it off, it makes power faster than the stock turbo!

So this dyno had the stock turbo'd car peaking at 274 on E85? That is a low reading dyno for sure. Boost seems a little odd to, as it's not peaking until ~3500 RPM stock turbo. Is this the dyno loading the car differently?
It would seem to me, that if this power level is accurate, then perhaps the 7cm^2 turbine housing really isn't as restrictive as most nasioc members make it out to be? And yes I know it has an EWG and cams, but still, for a 7cm that's impressive! Good work AMS! |

I would said that is a weak VF48 on E85 not a low reading dyno, we know how much a VF48 on E85 makes on GST dyno and it makes more than that. EWG makes no difference on a VF turbo. I am impress with this new 20g, is making 30-40 more than my OG green. Very impressive indeed. Good job AMS |

How much does it out down uncorrected? What are the IDC? U Should be out of injectors with the Id1000s at stock fuel pressure.

^^^ yea..something aint right, I have id1000's with my base pressure set at 53psi and I'm at 100% duty cycle on e78 at about 6800rpm, 11.7af only making right around 340whp dyno dynamics..

The car is at about 90% IDC, but they have not become static. I doubt there is any more power this car could make on e85 with this fuel system set up. Uncorrected for both plots: |

Impressive. I've heard 1000s are generally the limit on a stock single Walboro, I wonder if 13's rails and an extra pump would yield any more power out of this already impressive setup. I guess if they're really only at 90% IDC on E85, its probably perfect the way it is.

With a filter value of 1....that's a pretty damn smooth curve.
11.4 on E85 seems to be my magic number too... Nice work. Oh, and update your first post to include your peak RPM's. |

Something is way off here. The vf48 should be making at least 320-330whp on e85 and there's no way you're pushing 450whp on ID1000's on E85 at stock pressure. Not to mention the walbro wouldn't keep up with that flow either. None of this adds up.
