OOOoo YEAH Baby! I got my STi!
OMG I am so excited that I finally got my STi! . I bought it in aspen white, silver wheels, w.locks, mirror, mats, security for $30855 @2.9. I am having so much fun just cruising along for the break-in. Thanks to everyone how answered my noob questions. Now I'll mail in the rebate for the $500 subybucks and get the armrest an the gauge. Ahhhhh me so happy....

Congrats on the car.IMO save the subybucks for service, and by aftermakert gauges. Forget about the armrest.

I am interested in the oem boost gauge because it probably is less appealing to thieves and it's plug and play IIRC. I don't like that it's in metric units though... |

Some people say that the 2005 Armrest is more uncomfortable than the 2004 one but I cannot verify that as I don't have one

Take it to an auto-x if you want to go fast. The STi is very testy at the limit; a "spirited driving" cruise can quickly turn into a fear inducing "oh **** I'm going to wreck my new car" experience if you get near the limit
The car is unforgiving if you get close to the limit, be careful and have fun. |
