Default Alarm clicker

Hello i didnt know if i should post this to electrical technical or here but just a quick question for you guys. Will a 2006 WRX alarm clicker work on a 2007 sti? Will i be able to program? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

You mean key fob? Yes, you can reprogram it. If you google it, you should find a lot of instructions. You might have to read through a couple.

Did you read the stickies at the top of the page?

Ok so i went to the thread followed all instructions and got the beeps, but is still going back to my buddies car and not to mine when pressing unlock/lock on the key fob. Any help! Thanks!

Solved. Read the owners manual and not the thread it left out some steps

I need to reprogram mine, I think. They won't lock the doors anymore. Just unlock. I read somewhere that if you reprogram them, they will work again. Not sure if that's true or not.
