Speaking of Evos did any of you catch any of the World Time Attack Challenge coverage? This is the BIGGEST and most prestigious Time Attack race in the world. Only held once of year, and teams come from all around the world to battle.
Sucks team America had logistics issue's with the R32! |

aero = the final frontier. Look at F1, it is by far the most scrutinized and regulated aspect of the game. In Time Attack there are no aero regulation hence why you are starting to see more and more crazy aerodynamics. Not easy. Andrew Brilliant is the guy that did the aero package on Nemo. The dude really really knows his stuff considering he does it with pro teams for a living. It is such an acheivemant to go that much faster than Cyber Evo did last year. That car is the ultimate ultimate AWD rally based beast!

If you will be doing the eXtreme Time Attack on Sunday as well, go here to familiarize yourself with the rules: http://extremetimeattack.com/home.php
To be eligible for prizes for eXtreme Time Attack, you must have (3) AST decals present on the car - one on each front fender and one on the rear fender. No competing suspension companies must be present on the car. For the AWD Competiton, you must have Eibach Springs stickers and Infamous Performance stickers on your car to be eligible for prizes! Please talk with John Carson or Ben Sui should you have any questions regarding the eXremeSpeed AWD Competition. Please make sure you sign up for the competition at the registration desk to get credit for the competition. I know there is overlap and conflicts with the suspension companies. Please choose which ones you want to run. Stickers will be given out at the event. |

We will have a 25 minute session from 8:30 AM to 8:55 AM on Sunday.
Please be at the track at 7 AM so we can get you in the system and dole out the transponders. This will be pre-gridded based on last events times. This is for high intermediate to advanced AWD competitors only. If you do not have a lot of experience on Buttonwillow, and or have slower times, please grid toward the back as to not cause traffic. |

I believe that will be the only dedicated session but times count from all sessions throughout the day for the comp.

John although I understand the conflicts between the two suspension companies I am going to treat it as they are different as Swift Springs is different from AST so running both stickers would not be a problem. As you could run AST shocks with Eibach springs.

So the AST contingency confusion has been cleared. AST said it is okay to run the Eibach stickers that you have to run for AWD prizes. :-)

Yea next time, but at least for your first time out you did well. I need to get some more power on my car... Thinking about how to do it without moving classes for ETA or RTA but making myself more competitive in the AWD Comp. I wish I would of recorded some video from my whole 8 laps that I did...haha, and my 2 offs.
I still say the whole AWD Comp guys should go over to http://www.allwheeljunkies.com/ or http://www.trackhq.com/ or http://www.timeattackforums.com/ so we would all be on there and can all discuss rules and whatnot in one thread opposed to a few, Just a thought. For next year obviously. |

Yea, I'd say power is our biggest disadvantage at the moment. I know my car can keep up and possibly be even faster in some corners than the EVO's but the power differential is pretty significant. Check out this little video from Sunday, it shows what I'm talking about

^ It would be awesome if you could. The more Subies the better I say, this is still a pretty EVO dominant competition... so far...

Thanks, it was just a little frustrating running 2:05's all day and not being able to break into the 2:04's. I know I was improving as my cornering speeds steadily increased throughout the day as I got more comfortable pushing it harder in some corners; like sunrise, bus stop, riverside, etc, it was just never reflected in the times.

Ya but that heat got to you and the car, next we have a bigger hill to climb with big willow where power is even of bigger importance. I swear I might get a header before for a little help and maybe a race gas map. Something to get me over 300 whp at least haha. When did u get that .01 second in me
