Everything I have went through Open Road Tuning in some form or another. Andrew is a very well known guy in the VW/Audi scene and has been dealing air for many years. His knowledge of air ride is bar none! From my experience, every order through ORT is treated with care and of the most importance. You feel as though you've known Andrew for years once you start intereacting with him. All in all, I'm very pleased with the service and products.

I second that. Andrew is more than willing to help out in any way he can. Great guy to deal with!

So when are you gonna post pics if your setup?

LOL, when things dies down some with work I'll get a chance to finish her up. Currently, the tank is velcroed into place and the compressor is mounted where the spare wheel use to sit. My manifold is tucked away under the floor to the left. I'll eventually make it so the trunk is fully functional again and you'll never know there was air installed. I'm going for a clean setup, but not flashy.

Last I heard it was still a pre-order scheduled to release by the end of October. There are other kits besides Air Lift, but I'm not sure of their quality and proven performance to last.

Yeh I have "bothered" Andrew in the past with numerous questions when I was going to bag the Audi. Super guy (actually all of them over there) Great products at a great price. IMO there is only 1 place I would order bags from ORT. you just don't get the support any where else as good as them

OCDPVW x2 on the pics

Not sure if they have the bombs available for Subies but they are on par if not better than air lift. Ofcourse Andrew could get into specifics.

I'm running 215/40/18 on 9.5s et22, but that is so I can clear my fenders until I can roll the fronts. My rears were rolled awhile back.
How much camber you at when your dumped and at driving height? Im looking at some wheels close to your specs. 18x9.5 +23 and I've got a few sets of 245/40's laying around. Trying to figure if I can fit them with out a crap ton of camber.

actually the glass pops out easy enough and the whole setup while a bit awkward comes out fairly easy considering.

These wheels were with 245/40s when I first got them and I could drive at my normal ride height which is a tight finger gap. However, I could not go very low without some rolling and pulling of the fenders and massive camber. I'll have check when my camber is set at. It was aligned for ride height and I've never messed with it since

You may find this calculator useful for wheel/tire decisions : http://www.willtheyfit.com/

Thanks, I've used that one. There used to be one with a picture of the fender to show the amount of poke but I cant find the site anymore. If he's at +22 i think I'm good at +23 haha.

Rotiform SJC Race Wheels
17x8.5 et 18ish
17x9.5 et 22ish

The car rolls/drives with around 20psi in the fronts, the fitment works perfectly on the OBS!
