I thought you were coming back tonight?

uh nm, I just went and reread your email. For some reason I read 'friday' as 'tonight'. I think I have serious problems.

I'm taking your heater core to get pressure tested tomorrow, assuming it doesn't cost much. If it does I'm going to make you buy a pressure tester of some kind, won't cost much money.

Could find no signs of a leak, other than possibly at the hose to hard line connection. I have a feeling thats all it was, but I'm not putting the heater core back in until we test it.

Seriously… you’re routing the SMJ the sloppy way through the passenger-side FW plugs, right(?). What are you going to do, drag that cord all the way around the engine bay over the washer bottle to behind the battery where the connectors are? That’s going to look like a mess…

You can run the SMJ cord in conjunction with the bulkhead harness inside the car over to drivers side fenderwell. There you will find a large grommet to pass the cord into the fender liner which will allow you to enter the engine bay right behind the battery, by the fuse box. This is the way it’s found stock and reason behind the extra length available. Like this…

I didn't run it like that. All that you see was simply revealed by me when I ripped out the dash/hvac/etc. My job is to clean it up and fix a heater core leak.

Thanks for the tip though.
