Forced Air Tuning does me a solid.
Brought my car into taylor, Rob and Travis with a rod knock.
Brown trousers/ Freak out time. The cost of a new short block was not going to be cheap. Turns out it was the flywheel bolts that came loose and thrashed up the flywheel. FAT machined the flywheel and fixed the issue. I used a ****ed up torque wrench for those bolts and that's probably why they came loose. sometimes I wish they had safety wire for them for modern day parts. +1 for honesty and a super quick turn around time. It's a very nice surprise to be able to come to a place where you're treated like family and every one is very nice and helpful. especially when you're brand new to the area.

I keep hearing nothing but good things come out of their shop and customer service. I know i'll definitely be considering them in the future.

I don't have the experience and wouldn't want to touch it. I met robert at pavs and he was a really nice guy. i brought it up to him about wanting to drop it and he said they could do it. I'm excited!

Fyi for anyone else, i will never do a flywheel without loctite and torquing them a little more IF you are reusing old bolts.
Subaru uses new bolts everytime. |
