WI - 2005 Subaru STi - 38,000 miles, tastefully modded (over 25k), immaculate
Just lowered the price to make it sell before the snow flies! Well, I hoped this day would never come, but I need $$ and need to move onto something different. I bought this car brand-new in April of 2005 with a vision of exactly what I wanted the final result to be. I finally reached the goal five years later and it turned out spectacular. Since Sept 2008 I have only put 5,000 miles on it and as much as I want to keep it purely from it's absolutely PERFECT condition and low-miles (and the fact that it is AWESOME), I want to free up some cash, pay some stuff off, and buy a sport-bike (to at least have something fun to ride).
With that all said, the car has 38,000 miles on it, one owner, never had an accident (or even as much as a door-ding), and has NEVER SEEN RAIN OR SNOW OR SALT. EVER. Stays in a heated garage every year from November to April. No drivability or mechanical issues whatsoever, and it has been the perfect car. I am 38 years old and literally the only person to have been behind the steering wheel, I have never let anyone so much as back it out of my driveway. Most of the motor and mechanical work and all the dyno-tuninng was done by GRD Motorsports in Naperville. On 93 oct, the car (conservatively tuned) puts down 379 hp at the wheels. On 100 oct it is at 422 hp. Mods list as follows (many 'little' things aren't there, but the major stuff is.. Engine Modifications *APS SR40 Dual Ball-Bearing Turbo *APS Twin-pulse Stainless Steel headers *APS Split Y Stainless Steel Up-pipe *AEM cold-air intake *Perrin Front Mount Intercooler (Wrinkle Red) *APS Dual-Vent Blow-Off Valve *Nismo 740cc injectors *Walbro 255 l/hr fuel pump * Gimmick Motorsports Turbo Inlet *Invidia Downpipe w/ Divorced Wastegate (catless) *Borla 3” Exhaust *Perrin crank pulley *Agency Power Silicone Hose Set *Greddy Profec Electronic Boost Controller (in the glove box, but boost is now controlled by the custom tune *Grimmspeed Boost Solenoid *Perrin Remote Coolant Reservoir *Agency Power Short Throw Shifter w/ knob *Agency Power Oil Cap *Cobb Pro Dyno-tuned *TurboXS Dtec Engine Diagnostic Display (uses Gameboy Advance) *Cobb Tuning Battery Tie-Down * ACT Heavy Duty Clutch and Street-lite Flywheel * Comes with Cobb Accessport to flash the Pro-Tuned maps to the car - very slick! Exterior *ChargeSpeed Japan Type2 Side Skirts *ChargeSpeed Japan Type2 Rear Bumper *Hand Molded Rear WheelFlare Extensions *GReddy GRacer Front Lip Spoiler *35% Window Tint by Eclipse Tinting *’06 STi Tail-Lights *Clear Chip-Guard on Hood *Tein Hood Dampers *Perrin Radiator Shroud *Autospeed Performance Front License Bracket Cover * Custom Carbon Fiber/Blue Kevlar Rear Licene Plate Fill Wheels and Suspension *Volk Racing Ce28n – 19”x8” Gunmetal *Toyo Proxes T1R Tires 235/35/19 *Rays Duralumin Lugs – Anodized Blue *STi Struts *Eibach Pro-Kit (2 inch drop) *Cusco Strut-tower Brace Interior/I.C.E. *Pioneer DVD4800 iPod-ready DVD/CD Player w/ Remote *Rockford-Fosgate Power Series Component Door Speakers *Audiobahn Sub/Amp in Trunk (Self Contained, easily removed for track days) *EuroLite Blue Neon Under-Dash *TurboXS Gameboy Advance Dtec System Gauge Pack *Custom Blue Carpeting in Trunk *AutoSpeed Performance Dummy Pedal Clean title, clean history, flawless car. Over 60 1st place awards in car shows all over the Midwest. Pretty well known all-around, a few magazine features, webzine features, #1 car on Cardomain for a bit, and you will never, ever see one like this ever again. (The Chargespeed Body parts are now never to be obtained again, one of a handful ever brought to the US.) Ever part or item that was installed was of the highest possible quality as well, not one corner was cut. You can take this car to a any show or track and be a contender. The car was $33,824 when new and has had approx $25,000 to 30,000 worth of tasteful mods done to it (just the body and wheels were almost $10,000!) I am going to start my asking price at $24,000. Kelley Blue Book says Private Party value with 37,000 miles in excellent condition the value for an all stock version is $25,162!!!! That is like getting over $25,000 in nearly unobtainable part for less than $2,000! I will consider a Ducati, MV Agusta, KTM Sportbike or the like in trade as well. This is the best deal on the cleanest STi you will ever see in your life, please keep your opinion to yourself, my heart and soul and 7 years of my life went into this car, so I'm rather attached. I really didn't EVER want to sell this as my heart and soul and 7 years of my life went into this car, so I'm rather attached. But right now, I need the money. So wave some cash in my face and make it as painless as possible for me, and you can get yourself a deal on this one-of-a-kind, badass, flawless condition show-stopper. If you have any questions about it, you can reach me at 920-376-0578. Text or call. Thanks for looking.

Have seen this car multiple times and can vouch that it is 100% spotless! I'm not even sure brand new ones are this clean! Also can vouch that he doesn't even drive this beast in the rain (as our local group has made fun of him multiple times for haha). Super clean car, sad to see it go! Good luck with the sale Ralph!

Come on guys! I want this gone in a week (otherwise it goes into storage), make me a serious offer!! I just looked up KBB value on it - in excellent condition the Private Party value on it is $25162 - so you would be paying like $2,000 for over $25,000 worth of impossible to find mods!!!! I babied the hell out of this beast... Take advantage and jump on it before I have to put it in storage!

Hey man, great build and nice car.. I hope you don't get offended at the fact i'm asking a question with no intention of purchasing.. but i have a aps dr725 front mount, and I just got a hold of the aps twin vent blow off valve. My car is in maryland and im in college in florida, I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the blow off valve.. does it sound as nice as it looks? Good luck with the sale, I just haven't seen any good quality sound clips so I thought i'd ask someone who has one..
Also, To anyone interested in buying this car, it'll be hard to find one with lower miles, and this is the only one i've seen with an aftermarket body kit that looks like it really belongs on the car.. The quality parts put into the car will really go a long way; not to mention the fact that the engine bay is immaculate. pating out this cars aftermarket goods ( if you wanted to make the car your own style ) you'd almost be able to get what you paid for it.. Again good luck with this, glad to see you didn't cut any corners. |

Thanks for the kind words guys! So to show what kind of attention this particular car has - type 'blue Subaru' into google, my pic has been the first or second pic to come up for the last few years. There is a poster that was for sale, not by me, for the longest time until Subaru threatened the company for using it's 'intellectual property', lol. I just want my baby to end up in good hands - I finally convinced myself that there is nothing left to do with the car, so going to get some crazy awesome motorcycle, pay off credit cards, and save the rest. If someone makes a reasonable offer, it's theirs! I already found the bike that will be replacing it, lol.
The BOV question from above - its not very loud at all, subtle but you know it's there. I bought it primarily because it was a 50/50 recirc and made by the same manufacturer as the turbo and header I bought. You should be happy with it, if not you could probably sell it right away - APS parts are incredible, and getting more scarce everyday. |

Thanks a lot!! I'm glad that's the case, my blocks fully built and I'm EWG, with the fujitsubo 1 piece catback; to be honest I have enough loud haha.. Just what I was hoping to hear.
And I know! I've already had people try and buy the front mount from me! Once again, good luck finding a buyer man. |

Cool truck! But I am more in need of cash at this point (or a motorcycle trade).
I would think that you would have no problem selling this truck, though. |
