'o5 LGT Review in C&D: Clutch gone at 36K
In this month's issue of Car & Driver, they did their long term wrap up of their 2005 LGT...
Some of the same complaints we Baja Turbo /EJ255 owners have commented on the boards were mentioned in their write up. The low clutch takeup... grouchy gear box (especially going into reverse)... lumpy power delivery at times... and they managed to eat a clutch and flywheel/pressure plate in 36K miles... I love my BT, but with 15K miles on the clock, I think I might start saving a penny here and there for new (and aftermarket) clutch down the road... has anyone here gone through a clutch yet on their BT? C&D said it ran them $1600... And in the end, the C&D folks did love the EJ255 and the LGT...
