When is Alpine supposed to release there XM Antenna. I thought it was supposed to come out at the same time as the tuner but I haven't seen anything on it yet. Does anyone know?

i dont know that alpine has their own XM antenna. i know they have an XM tuner, but i believe XM sourced the antennas out to other companies. most shops have the magnetic ones, and i know best buy has the glass mount ones. are you looking for something different???

Alpine's website does show a magnetic mount XM antenna. The model number is KAE-202XM. Although it doesn't seem to be available anywhere just yet. You can find a photo of it at the URL below.

We're working on it. Its being made by our mother company Alps/Motorola and I have no clue when it will be out or a price on it. I just ended up putting a Trek glass mount on my car and it works great.

The inside mount of the antenna has one flat wire that you can run right under your head liner, then at the end it breaks off to 2 plugs for the XM box and 2 other wires for power and ground. I have each of the two subs wired in series/parallel to get 4 ohms. Then my 2 2channel amps are bridged.
